Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4) is a 43-amino-acid peptide found in virtually all human and animal cells and the body’s principal G-actin–sequestering molecule. Unlike the synthetic heptapeptide TB-500 (Ac-LKKTETQ), which isolates only Tβ4’s primary actin-binding domain, the full-length molecule retains its complete complement of functional domains — enabling research into cytoskeletal dynamics, tissue regeneration, and inflammation modulation across the peptide’s full mechanistic range. This product is supplied as a lyophilized research-grade peptide for in vitro and preclinical laboratory investigation only.

Investigational directions enabled by the published mechanism — not therapeutic claims.
- ◆Tissue repair & regeneration: cell migration and angiogenesis in dermal, corneal and cardiac models
- ◆Anti-inflammatory activity: NF-κB and inflammatory-mediator suppression in injury models
- ◆Cardiovascular & ophthalmology: ILK–Akt cardiac repair and corneal regeneration (RGN-259)
- ◆Cell migration & cytoskeletal remodeling via G-actin sequestration
In published models, Tβ4 sequesters G-actin via its LKKTET motif, driving cytoskeletal remodeling and directed cell migration. It activates the ILK–PINCH–Akt survival complex — linked to cardiac repair with epicardial neovascularization — and is pro-angiogenic, promoting endothelial migration. NF-κB suppression reduces inflammation in injury models.
