Thymosin Alpha-1 (thymalfasin) is a 28-amino-acid, N-terminally acetylated immunomodulatory peptide derived from the N-terminal fragment of prothymosin α. It is studied as a bidirectional immunomodulator acting through TLR2/TLR9 dendritic-cell signaling — not a pure stimulant. Unusually for this portfolio, it has a real approved reference (Zadaxin / thymalfasin). This product is supplied as a lyophilized research-grade peptide for in vitro and preclinical laboratory investigation only.

Investigational directions enabled by the published mechanism — not therapeutic claims.
- ◆Immune modulation: dendritic-cell maturation, Th1 polarization and NK activation
- ◆Antiviral research: T-cell restoration in chronic viral infection models (HBV / HCV) and viral pneumonia
- ◆Immuno-oncology: adjunct to chemo/radiotherapy and immune-related adverse-event research
- ◆Immune reconstitution: lymphopenia, sepsis-associated immunoparalysis and vaccine-adjuvant directions
In published models, Thymosin Alpha-1 signals through TLR2/TLR9–MyD88 to drive dendritic-cell maturation, Th1 polarization (↑ IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-2R) and NK-cell activation. It promotes T-cell maturation (CD4/CD8) and restores lymphocyte counts, and modulates IDO/tryptophan catabolism toward an inflammation–tolerance balance. It acts as a bidirectional immunomodulator rather than a pure stimulant, and has been studied for reversal of T-cell exhaustion (↓ PD-1 / Tim-3).
